Lefty is a South African–born rugby player currently representing Ealing Trailfinders in the English Championship. He grew up in Pretoria, attended Hilton College in KwaZulu-Natal and earned a BSc degree in Economics and Accounting from Brunel University, where he also recently completed an MSc in Banking and Finance.

Outside of rugby, he coaches part-time and has a strong passion for the financial services industry.
